Itinerary

Arrive in Hanoi

Hanoi

Begin your tour of Southeast Asia in Vietnam’s capital, Hanoi. Stroll through streets filled with historic charm, making sure to stop in Ba Dinh Square where  president Ho Chi Minh proclaimed the independence of Vietnam in 1945. Continue to attractions such as the Temple of Literature and Nha Chung Street for some traditional Hanoian tea. 

Escape the city the following day to the rural mountains of Ba Vi, and hear important tales of history from a Vietnamese War Veteran and tea farmer. Spend the rest of the day learning the traditional technique of harvesting and producing tea, cycling through lush paddy fields, and partaking in a fun cooking class. End your countryside adventure with a herbal foot bath before heading back to Hanoi.

Halong Bay

Embark on an overnight trip to Halong Bay. The breathtaking landscape of thousands of limestone islands jutting out of the emerald sea is an iconic image of Vietnam. The best way to appreciate this wonder is via a luxury overnight boat trip, where you can relax with a gourmet dinner and morning Tai Chi class on the sun deck before exploring limestone caves full of stalagmites and stalactites. Enjoy a delicious brunch before being transferred back to Hanoi.

Ho Chi Minh

Travel from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh, otherwise known as Saigon. Previously capital of the colony of French Indochina, Ho Chi Minh City is famous for its bustling markets and French colonial architecture. Begin your trip with a morning visiting renowned landmarks, including the Independence Palace and War Remnants Museum. In the afternoon, explore the Cu Chi tunnels, an immense network once used to aid the Viet Cong in guerilla warfare. 

Venture outside the city by taking a daytrip to Ben Tre and hop in a motorboat to explore the Mekong River. Stop at An Binh Island to stroll through orchards and visit the local village. Observe the making of rice paper and coconut candy or take a leisurely bike ride before heading back to Ho Chi Minh.

Siem Reap

Depart from Vietnam and head to Siem Reap in Cambodia. Explore the ancient city of Angkor Thom, including the iconic Bayon Temple with its 54 towers of smiling stone faces. Continue on to visit the multiple other temples that make Cambodia so famous. The next day, enjoy a private boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. Visit a unique floating village with schools, homes, and even a police station that moves with the water levels!

Bangkok

Complete your trip in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok. After some relaxing after the flight, explore three of Bangkok’s most iconic temples. Start at Wat Traimit, home to the world’s largest solid gold Buddha. Continue to Wat Pho, known for its massive 46-meter-long reclining Buddha and royal chedis. Finish the day with a stop at the Grand Palace, once the royal residence and still the city’s most famous landmark.

The next day, private transfer will take you to Samutsongkram to visit the famed Maeklong Railway Market and the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Ride a longtail boat through canals lined with local homes and plantations. Once back in Bangkok, make sure to spend a night discovering Bangkok’s lively streets and buzzing nightlife.
