Arrive in Ho Chi Minh 

Ho Chi Minh

Begin your exploration in Vietnam’s biggest city, Ho Chi Minh, otherwise known as Saigon. Previously capital of the colony of French Indochina, Ho Chi Minh City is famous for its bustling markets and French colonial architecture. Begin your trip with a tour of Cu Chi tunnels, an immense network once used to aid the Viet Cong in Guerrilla warfare. Complete the day by visiting renowned landmarks including the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, and War Remnants Museum.

Explore outside of the bustling city by taking a day trip to Ben Tre and hop in a motorboat to explore the Mekong River. Stop at An Binh Island to stroll through orchards and visit the local village, observe the making of rice paper and coconut candy or taking a leisurely bike ride.

Hoi An

Fly to Danang and transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An. Enjoy the evening by embarking on a street food tour via vintage vespa! In the morning, depart for Vong Nhi village, where bikes will be provided for a leisurely cycling trip. Arrive at Thanh Dong Organic Farm and tour the 10,000 sqm organic garden before taking a basket boat ride to The Field Restaurant. Here you can participate in a short cooking class and enjoy Vietnamese family-style meals before heading back to Hoi An.

Hanoi

Travel by plane to the nation’s capital: Hanoi. Begin exploring the country’s capital with a walking tour, stopping at must-see sights including Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, and the renowned Old Quarter which offers an eclectic glimpse into Hanoi street life. The next day, take a day trip to the Trang An Landscape Complex. Famous for its towering limestone peaks above water, this is the scenery for the country’s ancient capital of Hoa Lu, where you can observe ancient temples from the Dinh and Le dynasties. After lunch, begin a row boat cruise through “Halong Bay on Land”, taking you to Mua mountain, where you can embark on a cave tour.

Halong Bay

Enjoy your last few days of your adventure by travelling to Halong Bay. The breathtaking landscape of thousands of limestone islands jutting out of the emerald sea is an iconic image of Vietnam. The best way to appreciate this wonder is via a luxury overnight boat trip, where you can relax with a Tai Chi class on the sun deck before exploring limestone caves full of stalagmites and stalactites. Enjoy a delicious brunch before being transferred back to Hanoi.
