Welcome to Vancouver! Begin your adventure through the West Coast by exploring this scenic city at your own leisure. We recommend a city tour, bike ride through Stanley Park, or food tour at charming Granville Island to start off the trip. Vancouver has activities for all interests, including visiting historic Gastown, dining in lively Yaletown, or taking a ferry trip to the “Garden City” of Victoria. No matter what you choose to do, the beautiful Coast Mountains and Pacific Ocean will always surround you.

Kamloops

Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. Your train journey takes you through dramatic changes in scenery, including lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, desert-like landscapes, forests, and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains. Highlights of the day include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River!

Banff

Continue your travels eastward to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Marvel at highlights during your train journey, including the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, and Rogers Pass.

Arrive in Canada’s first national park, made up of Rocky Mountain peaks, vibrant glacial lakes, and abundant wildlife. Ride a gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain to overlook the picture-perfect town from above, and relax in the Banff Upper Hot Springs nestled high on the slopes of the mountain. This is just one of many activities Banff has to offer, including your choice of wildlife tours, visiting Lake Louise, or a helicopter ride in the clouds!
