Welcome to Vancouver! Begin your adventure through the West Coast by exploring this scenic city at your own leisure. We recommend a city tour, bike ride through Stanley Park, or food tour at charming Granville Island to start off the trip. Vancouver has activities for all interests, including visiting historic Gastown, dining in lively Yaletown, or taking a ferry trip to the “Garden City” of Victoria. No matter what you choose to do, the beautiful Coast Mountains and Pacific Ocean will always surround you.

Kamloops

Travel aboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. Your train journey takes you through dramatic changes in scenery, including lush green fields of the Fraser Valley, desert-like landscapes, forests, and winding river canyons surrounded by the peaks of the Coast and Cascade Mountains. Highlights of the day include the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon and the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River!

Jasper

Continue your travels eastward to the mighty Canadian Rockies and the province of Alberta. Pass by wondrous views as you follow the banks of the North Thompson River through the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains, climbing ever nearer to the high peaks of the Continental Divide. Highlights include Mount Robson standing at 3,954 metres, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, followed by Pyramid Falls and the climb over the Yellowhead Pass into Jasper National Park.

While in Jasper, enjoy a choice of activities suited to your preference, including a SkyTram, wildlife tour, or boat tour to Maligne Lake. In the afternoon, experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Jasper National Park on a half-day guided sightseeing tour, where you’ll explore stunning landscapes, spot wildlife, and visit iconic landmarks.
