Best Time to Visit

Experiencing the magic of Paris, Beaune, and Lyon is best timed around your desired experiences.

For pleasant weather and vibrant city life, spring (April-May) and fall (September-October) are ideal.  Paris and Lyon will be delightful with comfortable temperatures, and the vineyards in Burgundy and Chablis will showcase their picturesque landscapes without the summer crowds.  Additionally, fall offers the opportunity to witness the grape harvest, a truly special sight.

If wine tasting is your primary focus, aim for the summer months (June-August). The weather is perfect for exploring vineyards and enjoying outdoor activities.  However, be prepared for higher prices and larger crowds, especially in Paris.

Winter (November-March) offers a charming and unique perspective, particularly in Paris. The city takes on a magical atmosphere with festive decorations and fewer tourists.  However, some wineries may have limited hours or be closed for the season in Burgundy and Chablis.
