Itinerary

Arrive in London

London

No matter if there is rain or shine, London still remains one of the greatest cities in the world. Settle into your hotel bordering Hyde Park and begin your trip by embarking on a half day walking tour with a private guide, tailored personally to your interests. Wander the iconic cobblestone streets of this bustling city, making sure to see highlights including Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, and the British Royal Museum. Spend the rest of the day at your own leisure. Whether that is dining for High Tea or trying the ultimate array of delicacies at Borough Market, London truly is your oyster.

The next day, gain admission to the Tower of London with tickets included in your trip. Officially His Majesty’s Royal Palace and Fortress of the Tower of London, this historic citadel and World Heritage Site allows you to get up close to the Crown Jewels and explore one of the oldest buildings in the city.

Suggested Accommodation: Royal Lancaster London

Bath

Escape the city for a day trip to the picturesque town of Bath. Immortalized in many of Jane Austen’s novels, Bath is known for its stunning Georgian architecture: elegant, symmetrical facades that create the perfect setting to wander and explore. The Royal Crescent is the best example of this style. Afterwards, continue to the iconic Roman Baths, the namesake of the city. Now a remarkably well-preserved thermae and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the complex dates back to around 60–70 AD, when a temple was constructed to eventually become one of the most significant religious spas of the ancient world.

The Cotswolds

Complete your time in England with a luxury stay in the Cotswolds region of the country, known for its rolling hills and charming villages. Spend the day with a civilized meander around the Oxfordshire area, beginning at Blenheim Palace, a masterpiece of baroque architecture and birthplace of Winston Churchill. Continue going through nearby market towns, stopping for lunch, and antique browsing. Complete the day with a visit to Bourton-on-the-Water, also known as the “Venice of the Cotswolds”. Stroll along the riverbank, admire the bridges, and perhaps indulge in an ice cream before travelling at dusk to your hotel just in time for a nightcap.
