Itinerary
Reykjavík
Arrive in Iceland and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel in the heart of Reykjavík. Unwind at the hotel spa and settle into Iceland’s most refined urban retreat.
On Day 2, set out on a whale-watching cruise from Reykjavík’s harbor, exploring the surrounding bay in search of minke whales, humpbacks, and dolphins. In the afternoon, take to the skies on a helicopter flight over Reykjavík and the Reykjanes Peninsula, flying above recent volcanic eruption sites and landing directly on a lava field for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Overnight both nights in Reykjavík.

Snæfellsnes Peninsula
Travel west to explore the dramatic Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often called “Iceland in Miniature.”
Highlights include the black sands of Djúpalónssandur Beach, the striking cliffs of Arnarstapi, and kayaking across Breiðafjörður, Iceland’s widest fjord, with a stop at the historic Kontiki shipwreck. Continue onward to West Iceland for an overnight stay at Hotel Varmaland.

West Iceland & Lava Caves
Depart for an unforgettable exploration of Viðgelmir Lava Cave, Iceland’s largest volcanic cave. Hike through vast lava tunnels and descend into a dramatic magma chamber with expert guides. Continue through the Borgarfjörður region, stopping at the cascading blue waters of Barnafoss and the ethereal Hraunfossar, where glacial water streams through ancient lava fields. Return to Hotel Varmaland for the evening.

Begin the day at Þingvellir National Park, where tectonic plates meet and Iceland’s first parliament was founded. Enjoy a restorative visit to Laugarás Lagoon before continuing to the erupting Geysir and the powerful Gullfoss. Continue south to Hella for an overnight stay at Torfhús Retreat.

Explore Iceland’s iconic South Coast, beginning with a glacier zipline experience offering sweeping views of the ice fields. Return to Torfhús Retreat for the evening.

Viking Heritage & Highlands
Discover Iceland’s Viking past with a visit to the Hella Caves, followed by a journey into Þjórsárdalur Valley. Explore the waterfalls Hjálparfoss and Gjáin, and visit Stöng, a preserved Viking farm buried under lava in the 12th century. Return to Torfhús Retreat for your final night in the south.
