Dining

  • Included breakfast and dinner daily at the hotels.

  • Zermatt’s best dining experiences are found at the on-hill restaurants, which are more renowned than those in town or on the main street. We recommend stopping at one of the iconic on-hill restaurants while skiing.

  • For a lively and unique dining experience, we highly recommend Chez Heini, which offers great food and a fun atmosphere.

  • Dinner is included at Chalet Hotel Schönegg for five of the seven nights.

  • On New Year’s Eve, Chalet Hotel Schönegg hosts a special dinner event, which is included in your reservation (followed by a open air Dj party in the central village square!).

  • While in Zurich, we suggest dining at Zeughauskeller, one of the city’s oldest restaurants and beer halls.

Optional Experiences

  • Matterhorn Glacier Paradise: incredible views from the highest cable car station in Europe. Explore the ice palace, observation deck, and panoramic views of the surrounding peaks.

  • Matterhorn helicopter tour with Air Zermatt: a thrilling 25-minute flight over glaciers and close-up views of the Matterhorn. The experience includes a drop-off at Theodul Pass on the Switzerland-Italy border for a seamless ski descent.

  • Husky dog sledding at Trockner Steg: an unforgettable experience at 3,000 meters above sea level. Each person takes turns riding the sled while learning about these incredible animals from an expert musher.

  • Apres-ski at Hennu Stall: a legendary mountain club experience where the DJ turns up the music at 4:00 PM. Expect a high-energy atmosphere with dancing on tables before skiing down in the dark to catch a taxi back to the hotel.

  • New Year’s Eve open-air DJ party in Zermatt’s central village square: a fabulous celebration under the stars. Enjoy music, dancing, and the festive energy of the town as you ring in the new year.
