Lake Geneva & The Lavaux Vineyards (hiking and cycling through UNESCO-listed terraced vineyards, lakeside towns from Montreux to Lausanne, wine tastings between trails)
Active Group Travel in Switzerland
Custom private active group tours in Switzerland for friend groups, ski clubs, private clubs, alumni associations, and any group that wants to experience the beautiful country of Switzerland.
Active Group Tours in Switzerland
Switzerland was built for groups that like to move. In winter, Zermatt offers some of the most spectacular skiing in the world beneath the Matterhorn, with runs that cross the border into Italy and mountain restaurants perched above 3,000 metres. In summer, the same peaks become a paradise of alpine hiking, via ferrata, cycling, and glacier trails — from the Eiger villages of the Bernese Oberland to the terraced vineyard paths above Lake Geneva. Add legendary scenic railways, lakeside towns, and the warmth of Swiss mountain hospitality, and every active day ends with a remarkable view, an exceptional meal, and a story your group will retell for years.
We design fully custom, fully managed active group tours in Switzerland for friend groups, ski clubs, wine clubs, private clubs, alumni associations, couples groups, and active communities of all kinds — from guided ski weeks and helicopter adventures to alpine hiking, e-biking, and multi-region rail journeys. Every detail is handled by our team so your group can focus entirely on the experience.
Zermatt & the Matterhorn (guided skiing across the Zermatt–Cervinia ski area, helicopter flights around the Matterhorn, glacier descents into Italy, high-altitude mountain dining, summer hiking on the Gornergrat and Five Lakes trails)
The Bernese Oberland (Grindelwald, Wengen, and Lauterbrunnen beneath the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau — skiing, alpine hiking, via ferrata, and the Jungfraujoch railway)
The Engadin & St.Moritz (skiing, cross-country trails, winter hiking, and glamorous alpine resort life in Switzerland’s sunniest high valley)
The Valais (Verbier, Saas-Fee, and the Aletsch Glacier — the largest glacier in the Alps — with hut-to-hut hiking and big-mountain skiing)
Lucerne & Central Switzerland (lake cruises paired with hikes on Mount Pilatus and Rigi, historic cogwheel railways, easy access from Zurich)
Scenic Rail Adventures (the Glacier Express and Bernina Express connecting active stays across regions in panoramic style)
Ticino (Switzerland’s Italian-speaking south — lake swimming, valley hikes, and Mediterranean flair on the alpine doorstep)

The GHardy team planned the perfect family vacation to Italy for us!
The hotels, private tours and excursions were all exceptional and exactly what we were hoping for! We didn’t have to stress over anything – we just showed up and there was always someone to meet us. We also took great comfort knowing if any issue did arise, the G/Hardy Tours team, as well as a 24/7 emergency contact on the ground in Italy were always a message or call away.
