Itinerary

Program Summary:

Day 1: Depart Canada and fly to San Jose, Costa Rica’s capital.  Airport meet and greet with private transfer to Manuel Antonio (approx 3 hour drive).  Check-in to Shana By the Beach hotel and enjoy the amazing sunset from the hotel. 

Day 2: Enjoy the morning on a private guided tour through Manuel Antonio National Park with a professional naturalist guide.  This famous park contains mangrove swamps, primary rainforest, woodlands, beaches and an abundance of wildlife.  Return to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day. 

Day 3: Today is a free day to spend at the beach or by the pool.  This evening enjoy a sunset catamaran tour.  The view you will experience while sailing along the Pacific coast can’t be enjoyed in any other way!  Dolphins often play in the wake, so make sure you have your camera ready!

Day 4: Enjoy a free day on the beach or speak to your guide about other possible optional excursions

Day 5: Depart the hotel in the morning and travel by private transportation from Manuel Antonio to Arenal. Enroute, stop at the Tarcoles river to watch massive crocodiles.  Arrive to Arenal and check-in to Baldi Hotel.  

Day 6: Today you will have a choice of adventure: either an easy guided hike at the Arenal Hanging Bridges or a high-adrenaline biplane canopy tour that will take you soaring above the treetops. Return to the hotel and enjoy the Baldi Hot Springs!

Day 7: Enjoy the morning on a private guided tour to La Fortuna Waterfall, one of the area’s main attractions.  Later, visit La Fortuna town with your guide where there will be free time for souvenir shopping. 

Day 8: A private vehicle will transport you to San Jose Airport where you will have assistance checking in. Return to Toronto and say “adios” to Costa Rica!
