Begin your journey in Egypt’s bustling capital, where the echos of ancient history mingle with the vibrant pulse of modern life. Here, traditional bazaars buzz with activity and every street reveals the secrets of the city’s ancient past. Discover the majestic Pyramids of Giza, the last remining wonder of the ancient world, which have captivated travellers for millenia with their sheer scale and mystery. Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, where colossal statues and intricately carved relics set the stage for the unforgettable adventure to come. Admire the citadel’s grand mosques, and wander the Hanging Church’s sacred halls. Luxor

Often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum, Luxor is home to some of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring temples and tombs. Here, you’ll board the luxurious Oberoi Philae Nile Cruise.

Situated at a vital junction point along the Nile, this peaceful riverside town offers an intimate glimpse into Egypt’s past. It serves as the perfect base for exploring the impressive Dendera Temple, with its stunning reliefs, towering columns, and a magnificent hypostyle hall, as well as the Temple of Abydos. Edfu & Kom Ombo

Edfu and Kom Ombo, two captivating towns along the Nile, offer rich insights into Egypt’s ancient history. Edfu is home to the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s most well-preserved temples, dedicated to the falcon-headed god. The temple’s stunning reliefs and monumental pylons transport visitors back to a time when Egypt’s gods played a central role in everyday life, offering a unique glimpse into the religious practices of the ancients. Further south, Kom Ombo stands out with its twin temples dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. The temple’s symmetrical design and intriguing carvings offer a fascinating contrast to Edfu’s grandeur.

Aswan

With its palm-studded shorelines and endless sunshine, Aswan has been an inviting retreat since ancient times. The iconic Aswan High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering, provides a striking contrast to the timeless allure of the Philae Temple, located on an island in the Nile and dedicated to the goddess Isis. The Nubian Museum traces the history of the region stretching from Aswan to Khartoum from the ancient times to the present.

Alexandria

Alexandria, Egypt’s jewel on the Mediterranean, offers a delightful mix of ancient history and modern charm. Known for its rich cultural heritage, Alexandria was once home to the Great Library of Alexandria and the Lighthouse of Pharos, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Today, visitors can explore the remnants of this glorious past. Pompey’s Pillar, a towering granite column, stands as a testament to Roman rule, offering stunning views of the city.
