Itinerary

Arrive in Amman

Amman & Jerash

Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport and meet your private representative who will assist with arrival formalities and transfer you to the Fairmont Amman. Settle into your room and take time to savour sweeping views of the city. In the evening, stroll a lively neighbourhood, and sample a local mezze or sip coffee in a piazza-style square to ease into Jordanian hospitality.

After breakfast on Day 2, explore Amman’s highlights with your private guide: the Citadel for panoramic views, the Roman Theatre, and the atmospheric downtown souks. Midday you’ll drive north to Jerash (one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman cities in the world) and wander colonnaded streets, temples and the immense oval forum before enjoying lunch at a local restaurant. Return to Amman for an evening at leisure. You also have the option of the Jordan River Wine Experience, an intimate wine-tasting and four-course degustation in Abdali’s new dining quarter.

Petra

Check out and head south through Jordan’s scenic landscape. Visit Mount Nebo for the memorial church and sweeping views over the Dead Sea and the Holy Land. Next, continue to Madaba, the “City of Mosaics”,  to see the famous 6th-century mosaic map in St. George’s Church and enjoy lunch in a restored historic house. Later, arrive in Petra and check in at your hotel adjacent to the site. An evening at the hotel gives you time to prepare for a full day in Petra.

On Day 2 begin at the Petra Visitors Centre with your guide and pass into the Siq,  the narrow gorge whose dramatic walls reveal the first glimpse of Al-Khazneh (The Treasury). Explore Petra’s main monuments, rock-cut facades and hidden tombs, and climb to viewpoints for sweeping vistas across the archaeological city. Lunch is served inside Petra at the Basin Restaurant before more time for discovery or gentle wandering through the Nabataean streets. Return to your hotel for a restful evening.

Wadi Rum

After a relaxed breakfast, depart Petra for Wadi Rum,  the “Valley of the Moon.” On arrival, embark on a two-hour 4×4 tour with a local Bedouin driver; climb sand dunes, pass towering sandstone and granite formations, and discover dramatic desert vistas. Your desert exploration ends at a boutique Bedouin camp where you’ll enjoy the desert sunset with champagne and canapes served at a scenic viewpoint. The camp experience is comfortable and eco-minded, with private tented suites that blend authenticity with modern amenities.

Dead Sea

After breakfast, depart Wadi Rum and drive toward the Dead Sea region, descending to the lowest point on earth. Arrive at the Kempinski Hotel Ishtar Dead Sea and check in to enjoy lagoons, private pools and luxuriant facilities. Spend the afternoon sampling Dead Sea treatments or floating in the saline water – an iconic restorative experience.

Spend your second full day at leisure: indulge in spa therapies, try therapeutic mud wraps, or simply lounge by the water. The Dead Sea’s mineral-rich waters and serene landscapes make this the perfect place to unwind after days of exploration. For more active travellers, private hikes along nearby nature trails can be arranged.
