How We Work
Our disciplined, four-step approach to travel planning
At Georgia Hardy Tours, we create exhilarating and custom-made group travel experiences using our creativity, knowledge and a methodical approach to planning. Whether you are a school, individual or special group, our signature methodology means an exceptionally well-organized adventure that always hits the bullseye.
Step One – Share your travel vision
Where do you wish to travel? What experiences do you dream of having? And how long do you have? At this stage, we’ll ask you all the right questions to learn your must-haves and most wanted experiences. Unsure where to go or what to do? No worries. We’ll whet your travel appetite with some enticing sample itineraries, ones that we can modify, spice up or scale back to suit you and your group perfectly. See some here →
For teachers or youth group trip organizers, Step One will consist of an intake session where we interview you in-depth on the details of your desired trip, including group size, destination preferences, education goals, activities, budget, and other details. See how we work →
Step Two – We create your bespoke experience
Now that we have your wish list, timelines and budget, you can sit back and relax. Our team will tap into our global networks, check availabilities and connections — and skillfully sculpt your ideal travel itinerary, with special highlights to give it that extra pizzazz.
Once we have it all laid out, the fun begins. You’ll review the itinerary with us and make enhancements to ensure it fits the bill.
Step Three – We book your travel
Once everyone in your group is onboard, we’ll process your deposit and completed forms, and set your tour in stone. Congratulations your tour is confirmed; it’s a great feeling to know you’re all set to go. Your final payment is usually due 90 days before you depart. Around that time, you’ll receive a pre-trip package from us, stuffed with goodies like helpful packing tips, destination information and recommended reading lists. Start packing!
Step Four – We watch over your trip, each step of the way.
Bon voyage! Our caring involvement in your trip does not cease until you step off the plane at the end of your journey. We are with you each and every hour, transparently overseeing the itinerary to ensure everything flows smoothly. Rest assured, we’ll be there to assist, should there be a sudden change, a health issue, cancelled flight — or if any circumstance arises that affects your trip.
