Best Time to Visit

South Africa’s Western Cape and Garden Route are blessed with year round bounties. Over the summer months, December through early March, enjoy the best beach weather although a busy holiday period as South Africans flock to the coast. We love April and May as the weather is still glorious and there are fewer visitors. June through August will have cooler and rainier weather, but it is the start of the spectacular whale season. September through November is peak whale season, with generally good weather.
