Best Time to Visit Morocco
Morocco’s climate is best enjoyed in spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), to take advantage of the gloriously mild weather and smaller crowds to explore cities and the desert. These periods offer ideal weather conditions that are far more agreeable than the scorching summer heat or the occasional chill of winter.
Coastal regions, with their mild winter and pleasant summer highs in the upper 20Cs/80Cs, can be enjoyed year-round.
The High Atlas Mountains present a unique case. While accessible throughout the year, for optimal hiking conditions aim for April to October. Winter transforms the peaks with a breathtaking layer of snow, but this can make trekking more challenging.
