Itinerary

Arrive in Naples or Rome

Sorrento

Fly into Naples or Rome and overnight in Sorrento. The next morning, your guide will whisk you away to drive along the panoramic coastal road to Amalfi. The route offers wonderful views of steep cliffs, natural bays, and picturesque cities.

Arrive in Positano, where you can admire the famous Duomo and have free time to stroll around the historic town. The rest of the time in Sorrento is yours to explore at your leisure—for instance, you may choose to catch the hydrofoil to Capri. All the while, indulge in delicious Italian cuisine; don’t forget to pay special attention to the local specialties!

Suggested Accommodation: Grand Hotel Riviera

Rome

On your way to the “Eternal City” of Rome, stop at a gorgeous winery for lunch.  Once you arrive in this historic city, your guide will take you on a journey through the centuries, stopping by the Trevi Fountain, Palazzo di Montecitorio designed by Bernini, Pantheon, seat of the Senate of the Republic, and hidden gems you won’t find on any other tour.

Your expert local guide will also explain the masterpieces of the Vatican Museum and lead the way for you to marvel at the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.  No trip to Rome would be complete without visiting the Colosseum, whose grandeur will simply take your breath away.

When in Rome, go where the Romans go!  Make sure to ask your local expert guide for the best gelato, coffee, and restaurants in town, in which Rome abounds.

Florence

Private transfer will take you to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance. You will explore this hub of art and history beginning with a guided walking tour of the magnificent Duomo, octagonal Baptistery, and Piazza della Signoria. Soak in all the magnificent architecture as you walk, defined by the 15th century Medici Family. Browse the shops along the Ponte Vecchio before crossing the Arno River towards the Pitti Palace gardens. You will admire Michelangelo’s David at the Accademia, or see masterpieces at the Uffizi Gallery.

Florence is not just art and history, it’s also fashion and craftmanship. Home to Salvatore Ferragamo, Emilio Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, and Gucci, Florence’s boutiques are a shopper’s dream. The local markets offer exceptional leathergoods, gold, embroidery, and silk.

Savour Florence’s specialties like bistecca alla fiorentina, sip Chianti or Super Tuscans, and sample the best gelato at culinary hotspots scattered across one of the country’s most charming cities. No trip to Italy is complete without time spent exploring the luxuries Florence has to offer.

Suggested Accommodation: Grand Hotel Minerva

Venice

Before reaching Venice, you’ll enjoy a cheese tour at an authentic Parmigiano Reggiano producer. Continue to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, which contains more than 40 models, including Formula 1 racing cars from several decades. You will even have the chance to test drive a Ferrari California or a Ferrari 458 Italia! For true gearheads, continue on to the Lamborghini Museum before reaching Venice.

Venice’s unique lagoon position has lured visitors for centuries, drawn by the city’s mystique. From the moment you see the Grand Canal palazzos from your private water taxi enroute to your luxury hotel, you will be enthralled by Venice’s beauty. We have the best guides to help you uncover local lore and landmarks overlooked by the average tourist.

As Venice is fully pedestrianized, it is built for wandering the many alleyways and along the canals. Enjoy delicious food and drink, stopping in local restaurants for cicchetti, the Venetian version of tapas. Shop the artisan stalls along the Rialto, or perhaps visit the Murano island for exquisite glass vases, or journey to Burano for lacemaking. Indulge in a quintessential Venetian gondola ride through the canals for an experience you’ll never forget. Your time in Venice is yours to revel in!
